All the rain delays pushed Jered Weaver's first start of the season off for at least another day. Josh Beckett was also give the ball over Tavarez for Patriot's Day. Ervin Santana was roughed up early in this one.
Tuesday, April 17: Daisuke Matsuzaka (1-1)(BOS) vs. Gustavo Chacin (1-0)(TOR)
D-Mat seems well worth the hype. And so far he's been squaring off against some of my personal favorite starting pitchers. Chacin is a hard-throwing lefty who should have a real breakout year in his near future.

10 strikeouts and a loss? Nice start by D-Mat. He's had a couple of rough breaks given how well he's pitched. Nice job by Chacin - no walks issued by the Toronto starter. And that made all the difference.
Wednesday, April 18: Roy Oswalt (2-0)(HOU) vs. Aaron Harang (2-0)(CIN)
Oswalt has been facing off against the high-strikeout pitchers (his last start was against Brett Myers) - and winning ballgames. I'll be pulling for Harang to keep the Houston bats quiet in this one.
