It seems like only a couple of weeks ago that I was driving past Busch Stadium on my cross-country relocation to the AL East. Now it's the sight of the first game of the regular season as the Mets swing into St. Louis.Three pitching match ups that look promising over the next three days:
Sunday, April 1 in St. Louis: Tom Glavine (0-0) (NYM) vs. Chris Carpenter (0-0) (STL).

Tuesday, April 3 in San Francisco: Jake Peavy (0-0) (SD) vs. Barry Zito (0-0) (SF). I think Zito will have little problem transitioning to the National League. This will be the first indication of what kind of return the Giants will get on their substantial investment. Peavy is also well worth keeping an eye on.
